Thanks to MarTT for the install instructions and MikekiM@PureMS for the parts.

I've got a coworker that just did a ball joint install on a 67 Mini Cooper and he said that getting the ball joints out was a PITA! Probably so being the car hasn't been touched in 40 years! I can't see how a ball joint removal on my car will be all that difficult being I have the right ball joint removal tool...and other tools.

Default And thank you for the installation pixx MarTT. Much appreciated.

yes, I am prepared. Ball joints on their way and should be here thursday, the other control arm should be here tomorrow, Going to punch out the old bushings on the MK1 arms and put in the new ones from the Defcon set I got (adapters only going up for sale soon), paint the control arms, and install either saturday on sunday followed by an alignment monday. I'm getting pretty excited about the whole thing. My car is running like crap now as all the bushings and ball joints are completely toast. Putting in new strut bushings while I'm in there too to make things nice and tight. It's going to be a real relief as driving the car now is almost unbearable.

Default Are replacing bushings instead of control arms that difficult?

I just replaced my front tie bars inner and outer however my bushings are done and i'm being told to buy new control arms except that they cost 215 a pop. Why do that when I can buy bushings on ttstuff.com and get them installled and keep my perfectly good control arm?

My tt just hit 100k.
