Just saw silver 350Z on Long Island NY
350 Z was turnig infront of me,, he looked at me and I checked his ride...the New Z looked pretty good, However looks like any other NEWER SPORTS car out there..a little lexus and infinity in it.
...I gotta say the guy was checkin out my Silver 225TTRoadster pretty hard...There is gonna be some firece competition between these 2 cars.
...HOWEVER When arriving home I took a good look at me baby...,,,NOW I know why the guy was staring so hard...ITS GORGEOUS..Even with the NEW Z coming out the TT still has its own unique look and stands in a class own its own.

350Z is a nice car - but its not a TT Roadster
Sure - you get a lot of HP with a 350z for less money. If thats all you wanted in a car you should probably buy one. But - if all that matters to you is truly HP - you can buy a used Shelby Cobra replica with roughly 450+ horse for under 30k.
First off - there is my quattro
Next up - my convertible soft top (automatic)
After that the distinctive baseball optic interior
My real aluminum accessorries
The Z is a good looking coupe. No more good looking to me than the old Acura Integra "R" version.
I feel completely comfortable with my choice of vehicle. Now if Nissan rebadges the "Z" with some real aesthetics, a convertible model, and an AWD feature - maybe then I would consider it.

Not that impressive IMHO, simply because.....
The new Z is touted to be a great car with cutting edge design and great performance.
For the $$$$, maybe it is.
The problem I have with the Z is its design and the fact that its cousin looks like a carbon copy.
Look for yourself and compare the two: (Z and G35 coupe)
<a href="http://www.cars.com/dyngalleries/photogallery.jhtml?year=2003&make=Nissan&model=350 Z&trim=&style=&referrer=bguides">The new Z</a>
<a href="http://www.cars.com/dyngalleries/photogallery.jhtml?year=2003&make=Infiniti&model=G 35&trim=Sport&style=Coupe&referrer=bguides">The new G35 sports coupe</a>
The similarities between the two are too close. IMHO, that discredits Nissan or Infinity for coming up with anything incredible as far as design is concerned.
If VW made a car that remotely looked like the TT I wouldn't have bought it.
The TT pedals are in both cars! The lowering of the windows like the TT. How flattering to Audi.
I simply wish they had exercised more originality in their design. I think the Z is a nice looking car but it just doesn't excite me. It's too bad Nissan didn't aim higher.
