Default Little Help over here....glove box seems to be stuck (more)

The other day I go to open my glove box. I pulled the latch, it "popped" open, but it didnt fall open like it usually does. I can hear the click of the lock releasing but the door will not open. If I pull on it I can get it about a 1/2 inch open. It feel almost like it is binding somewhere. Anyone have a similar experience or know of a fix?

Default Hello, dealer? Freshly home from a fix...

...on my 2002 TTR, which involved ordering a whole new door -- the only fix. (Check 'Search Forums' under the keywords "glove box" -- this is a common problem... and one of the Forum members offers a tip for at least getting the door open before you take the car in.)

Good luck with your dealer! And make sure they order the right part! (Blank for FWD, engraved script for Quattro.)

if it's stuck on the right side you can unscrew the side panel and push the pin in to open it
