Default That's the setting I use too.

Mine are either off, of it it's cool enough (usually around 50 or less with the top down) I'll put it on 3. I never use the heaters with the top up... Just doesn't seem to be a need. Parked in the garage, the interior never gets below probably 40F, and the car warms up quick enough that the seat heaters are not needed. I figure the less I use them the longer they'll last.

i keep it on 4 or 5 in the morning. yes it gets that cold.

I wonder if there's a correlation between the seat heaters and the leather seat preservation??

I've wondered that myself. I guess just keep them conditioned well.
