Default Lock Cylinder - Reading Coil - Ignition switch - PROBLEMS.... Any Advice?

Car towed to dealer because it wouldn't start and a new key was reprogrammed since that was the first problem..

Car finally started with new key but the dealer is saying that the Lock cyl, reading coil and ignition switch (i think thats all similar or something he said) are failing and shorting out and needs to be replaced for $595.....Do it? or any other places to get it done cheaper? doubt it

Default Yup, thats what they said! I signed off on the work they ordered the part -

Should be there monday and the whole deal costing around 800 with diagnosis, new key + reprogram, and new ignition switch or w/e they are fixing...

For that price I was kinda hoping the cluster, so i can get a new fuel gauge
