Yes, it's that time of year...the annual Tournament of Roses Parade. As many of you know, I am the assistant director of one of the twelve Marine Corps bands. Every year, we combine four of those bands to make one big 120-piece monster band for the Rose Parade. We've been doing this every year since at least 1949 (no records exist pre-1949). Anyhoo...the parade starts at 8:05 on the west coast. We're something like number 40 in the line of march this year, so it might be a little closer to 9:00 'til we're on TV. Of course, many of you will be out rather late partying, so be sure to watch one of the many re-broadcasts of the show later in the day.

For the best viewing of the parade, watch HGTV.
