Looking for a used Aftermarket Exhaust for sale.

I'm in the market for a used exhaust for my 02 225 ALMS if anyone has one in their garage not being used.

I had a line on one, but I think it's sold to someone else. I looked through the classified and didn't see anything I'm interested in, so I figured I'd post up here.

Looking to spend in the $500 range and I have a TTDA to trade if you happen to be looking for one (but trade not required.)

BlueFlame, Forge, Borla, Miltek, APR...if you have one, I'm interested. Reply here or email me at A2WolfsburgGLI@yahoo.com

Wimpy sound?

roadyTT 02-15-2009 08:35 AM

I didn't mind the few I've heard

2nd. actually...

i like the tone of it....but it's just waaaaaaaaaay too quiet. almost stock-ish quiet.

based on the list he provided...price is the deciding factor not sound>>>

there is a full range of choices there....

They were having some minor fitment issues a couple of months ago... mine was included.

They took care of me, but I'm not sure if they ever fixed it or not.

I love the sound - deeper than stock, and loud when you get on it - but NEVER drones or becomes obnoxious in the cabin.

An exhaust shop commented on the quality of metal/welding work as well - if that means anything at all.

I read about that and was actually surprised...

Usually it's the first system recommended as it really hasn't suffered any issues at all.

If the need were to arise, I wouldn't have any issues buying one new or used given the limited amount of trouble they've had.
