Default Loose mirror

my passenger mirror appears a tad loose. I noticed this today when applying some zaino. I am not an avid hard buffer when it comes to pressure so I am sure its just age. Is it a trip to the dealer or can this be done by myself. REgards

PS its not extremely loose, but me being **** it doesnt seem as tight as it should

thanks

Default If it is the glass, then you there is a possibility that one of the clips have broken

The dealer will replace it for you - if it is the housing itself, the dealer will be able to tighten it up without too much problem.

Default I had this with a new aspherical mirror. It was the double sided tape they use to stick the mirror..

to the plastic backing plate which attaches to the tilt mechanism. The tape wasn't holding it very well, especially when the temperature was hot.

I used some 3M trim adhesive to glue it back on. It's been fine since.
