Lost my keys and looks like my second set has not been coded for my car. Help!
A while back Audi replaced my instrument cluster and did not recode my extra keys. I lost my original set tonight and need to code the second set to the car so I can drive it. Any way to do this short of towing my car to the dealership?

Wow....That's not good....I hope you figure it out....Take some comfort in knowing that I have
learned from your misfortune and will have my dealership recode my spare keys...Instrument cluster just replaced and they never asked about my spare...

If you have a VAG tool...
and a dealer willing to help you on the phone this may help...<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/key-matching.html">Key Coding</a></li></ul>

D'oh! Too late. Audi already towed the car to dealer. Keys getting recoded right now.
Turns out the valet key wasn't coded correctly either.
On the other hand, Audi Roadside Service rocks.
