The smoke from downtown is still there and has shifted from South East to South West.

Vish, are the schools open above 14th street? Any financial businesses open?
I'm still looking for a friend who works there and haven't gotten any news. He lives on 31st street. No answer at his place.

Yes schools are closed in all of Manhattan. About 75% of our IT staff is in. The traders here....
were told to call their immediate managers to find out if they are suppose to come in. I cannot believe my manager had the nevrve to ask us to come in. The guy comes in to show off to his directors so he can get a bigger bonus. I feel like telling him "GO ***** YOURSELF. I QUIT"

Hang in there, V! Remember, he's also under strain and this might be his way of dealing with
it. Also, it is good to return to some sort of "normalcy" as quickly as possible. This was an extreme situation and emotions are very high right now.
