mobile phone
The search function seems to be disabled, so I thought I would ask a question that I am sure has been asked before. I just bought a TTC/225 in ravens black. It's fantastic. When I got it, my dealer said it was already wired for a mobile phone and it has the antenna already installed. I couldn't find any information about this in the manual though and I am not sure what I am supposed to do to take advantage of this feature. I'd like to install a base for my motorola startec that would work with the wiring in the car. I had a similar system in my beemer. Any suggestions?
Also, I just moved to the DC/MD/VA area, so if you could recommend a place that could install this, that would be much appreciated.

Re: See my post down the page a bit. Join this group
Just joined the group. Thanks. A quick skim of the postings seems to suggest that there is no easy answer. I'm not the most technically inclined, so I fear this could be a difficult task -- especially because I won't give up my startac or 225QC. Hopefully someone will post a doable solution.

Re: mobile phone partial answers....
Donnerd...Before I got the info from Jeff Bipes, I went ahead and hard wired a Nokia hands free set-up into my car. I only interfaced the antenna (in the left flap, trunk area). I will probably add the mute and speaker functions eventually from his provided wiring diagrams.
Ended up running 2 power leads to the drivers seat area and hid everything under there. Clean install, but not *integrated* as such. The antenna's a no-brainer.
