180 has more stuff available.
180 has a Stage III option, that has a smidge more hp than the 225 kits.
So, it depends on your goal. You could less on a lighter weight 180 FWD and then add more bits to make it faster. However, you do have to do more.
The 225 has stronger internal bits, so that's the local favorite.
