Default A moment of silence for the LAST live Christmas tree that

will ever enter my home... ;-)

Bought a huge one this year...had help getting it in the house and putting it up....big problem taking down by myself ... it crashed out of the stand spewing dried needles and cracked branches over every square inch of the entire room. It has taken four hours to clean up the mess. Funny how those little buggers can dig themselves right into the carpet fibers .. had to pull some out with tweezers....never, ever again...

Default Wood floors are the key. ;-)

Actually, ours have to be cut in half to be taken out it was so big, and it was definitely a two person job.

Exactly why we only put ours up on the hardwood floor area. We also learned the hard way

Default LOL....this is the first year in a bunch that we had a live one....>>>

But the smells and the tradition made up for the messy clean-up. My kids were thrilled. We have a VERY realistic fakey, but it's just not the same, ya know?? Quit whining, we know you love to clean!!!!!

Default Tell me about it....In my last Apt. my roomate insisted on live trees and of

course we had 20' ceilings and always an 18' tree...

I'd be vacumming needles until the next Chritmas!! AHH....Now, I just don't do trees at all anymore!!
