A more accurate truth has never been told................
"You dont know what you got until its gone" <taken from some '80s hairband I suppose>
Well, the good news is that the Tub is back in the hands of the loving owner and seems to be running back to normal, only one problem that I can seem to find now.... <B>HOW THE HELL DO YOU 180 OWNERS WITHOUT A CHIP LIVE WITH YOURSELVES ON A DAILY BASIS!!!!!</B>
I suspect that any jury in the US would consider this cruel and unusual punishment and gladly make AUDI chip all of their cars. This car feels like a *turd*...My eyes must have been really glossed over with lust when I bought this car cause I sure didn't buy it for its neck snapping speed <sheesh> this car just feels downright slow. My suggestion to all non-chipped owners, do not ride in any chipped 1.8T until you are ready to buy, there is no way to resist the temptation.
I have often heard the question.. "Is a chip really worth it?" I have a definitive answer <b>YES..Every PENNY!</b>
I still think that this is somehow related to me buying the Stg 3, this is some sort of setup that I will have to drive the car in *stock* mode for the next week or so and then when I get the install done, the car will feel like it has a 500hp compared to what I am used to.
<off soapbox> =D

I was hoping for *deep and meaningful* truth and this qualifies...
The question for all of us <i>early</i> 180 owners is... How long can we hold back from getting Stage 3 and will our lives become more meaningful as a result? :-)

As someone who held off for so long.....>>
I gotta agree! A chipped/exhausted/intaked/FMIC'd 225 is a thing of beauty! Drove the Roach last week, and I understand why you guys are going for stage 3........

I suspect that the 1st video posting of my ride in the Tub
after the transformation will probably peak your interest.
When I post the dyno sheets and tell some of the smackdown stories on the local BoxSter S you will start saving your pennies.
When you get a ride in one, you will sell important body parts to get it....and be happy to do it =)
