More questions from a TT newb...
Well I've been driving my TT for almost 2 months now and it's been great so far. I just have a few small questions about my car and want to make sure everyone elses does this.
Ok first concern...when I open the hatch are the lights in the trunk supposed to turn on? WHen I have my headlights on there is one light on the hatch lid that turns on but I could have sworn there are two lights on the interior that never turn on. Are they supposed to turn on? Am I doing something wrong? Um...is the light on the hatch lid supposed to turn on only when I have my headlights on?
Next concern...how the hell do I know if the interior sensor alarm thing is on/off? I just don't know!?!?
That's all for now...any help would be *much* appreciated!

Yes.
The light on the hatch should only be on when your lights are on - it lights your license plate.
If you have the switch for interior lighting to "off" (rocker switch) then your trunk lights do not turn on (and your courtesy lights do not turn on when you open a door).
Press the button next to the fuel tank release to turn off the motion sensor.

The lightswitch is part of the latch mechanism and its a very high failure item>>
Mine has been flakey since new and I've seen approximately 25 billion posts concerning it from other owners as well.
Sometimes if I strum the inside release lever the light will turn on. Other times...it wont.
There are even times when it works as its intended to.
It's an Audi...Get use to it.
