Default MP3 Player Yet?

Anyone do a MP3 player install in the TT yet? Either a cd player with MP3 deocder or dedicated (hard drive type) player? I have been looking at these buggers since the Empeg car player was being developed, about 3 years ago. If anyone has any info on this, I would be interested.

Default Obviously not integrated with CD Changer then?

That would be sweet.. a CDRW head unit that would still integrate with the OEM changer.

Default yes, just installed a PhatBox

I'm the first one to get a PhatBox- I'm beta-testing it for them with the stock Audi head-unit.

Basically, the PhatBox has a 6GB removable drive cartridge, and replaces the CD changer. It pretends to be a CD changer to the Audi Concert head-unit, except it has up to 99 disks with up to 99 tracks on each one. You define the 'disks' as playlists, effectively, using desktop software (it comes with a cradle).

It basically replaced the standard CD changer behind the seat. Quite rad -- I don't think I've even thought about FM radio since I got it installed a few days ago.

PhatNoise, the makers of the PhatBox
