Default multitronic availability?
I 've recently read from various fan sites from Ford and Nissan that by 2002 they will both be using a form of a CVT transmission. And with Audi's former design chief J. Mays now at Ford, there are rumors the Mercury Cougar S will have design hints from his work on the TT and it may even have AWD and an autostick. If this is true, it will be shameless copying!!

Anyway, does anyone have any new information about when the Audi TT will also have this CVT or Multitronic transmission?
