Default My Audi TT days coming to an end?

So I haven't posted in a while and I guess that pretty symptomatic of the fact that I just don't have time to drive my car much any more. My busy schedule coupled with the fact that it's needed to have the rear suspension looked at for about a year now has basically meant that I have driven the car about 3-4 over the past year. It's only got just over 25,00 miles on it, I love the car and will miss it when it's gone but, with our house needing what will probably amount so some extensive HVAC work soon, it's looking like I may have to consider selling it. And what sucks in this down market is that I'm sure I'll wind up almost giving it away.

So, for starters, a question for those of you who have sold cars recently, what were the most effective ways to sell? Where did you have the most luck finding buyers?

Also, I'm not sure if I'm going to wind up parting it out or just selling it as is (sans the ****-that's a keeper no matter what). If I do wind up parting it out, I'll post that in the appropriate place on the forum.

I'd love to buy it, but common sense and practicality gets in the way sometimes..:-)

Well, you've at least seen some of the parts-you could own the whole thing!

Default It's not a done deal yet.

And really, there's no excuse to not get together some time-we work 3 minutes away from each other. If you're still in the Galleria area, let's get together before or after Xmas. The TT could make it into town another time. I just have to get it to German auto repair for a second opinion soon about the rear bushings. I'll fix those no matter if I sell the car or keep it.

Default I'm off next week, doing Thanksgiving in Kennesaw, and off Christmas. I will...

travel to Wilmington NC 14-18 Dec for another eval trip. Send an email to me (profile) and I'll pick a time/date. And, we can get together anytime: plenty of gearhead left in you!

You consider getting a second opinion?
