My car is falling apart.......
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/40271/ac_button.jpg"></center><p>Man I must have a streak of bad luck! 3 weeks ago I had to send my car back for some warranty work because some of the paint was comming off the left side mirror. Today I was driving and I went to pull the ac button out to turn it off so I could have my windows down, and the plastic button broke completly off the ****. How long do you think audi would take to order me a new piece? Since it is a odd order, I tried super glueing it back and I thought it looked terrible.

Bad news, Im afraid.....
Mine also have a "crack" but has not yet fallen apart. I checked with Audi and discovered that you have to replace THE ENTIRE AC dash unit to get a new ****....
On the other hand, if you manage to replace only the ****, please tell me/us what the part no is

yup, they have to replace the entire unit. stupid isn't it. the rep said its the only **** in the whole car that can't be simply replaced. glad its a warranty item.
