Default My latest mod [bandwidth]

I recently got my car back from the installer with my new Koni "Yellows"
[shocks], APR roll control springs and new AVS Sports installed. I must say,
I love it! I'm sure you all know by now but, this is a great mod, the car feels
much more solid.

Some things i have noticed:

- I feel more comfortable when I am driving at high speeds on the highway due
to less of a "dip" at the front of the car when you hit the brake
hard, it's more linear.
- I can get the back end to slide out more accurately, it's more predictable
when I'm in an over steer situation.
- I also have much more controlled 4 wheel drift due to less roll and, a less
bouncy ride.

It's like a new car.... I HIGHLY recommend this mod if you have not already
done it [ sounds like most of you already have ]... It's 100% better than when
I just had springs done on my A4 and 200% better than the stock setup on my
225 TT.

Here are some pics:

you can see the Koni "Yellows" and the blue APRs, as you can tell
my next mod should be larger breaks to fill up the wheels [19s]

cool tire tread, they are great in the rain as well as dry conditions.

<img src="http://www.brad-anderson.com/temp/pics/tread.jpg">

I used to have a 1.5 inch gap above my rear wheels, now not much of a gap at
all.

well let me know what you think.

Default Yes [more]

I have had them for a week now and I've had the opportunity to test them in the rain and in dry conditions. My opinion is they are very good tires, I bought them because of the good wet weather traction rating and because I wanted a "Max Performance" tire, also they are the only "Max Performance" tire that will fit my wheels [235-35-19] from tire rack. I had S02s on my A4 and LOVED them so I was hoping for similar performance, the AVS Sports seem to be very close to the performance of the S02s. They are a bit noisy on the highway though and seem to run narrow. The grip is great though. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think when you get yours.

By the way, love the sig... the squirrel cracks me up.

Looks great! And I'm not usually fond of charcoal or anthracite wheels!

Default Kewl !!! I've got 235/35/19's as well. Wanted to try the SO3's but they're discontinued due to>

sidewall problems. I had a set of Yoko AO32R's on my Camaro street/race car. They were awesome. Only good for about 4000 miles or so, but stickier than you could imagine.
