I use to have 12 speakers 800W system in my Type-R.
Now I like my TT simple.

Default Yours is still a CD player...now this ones plays MP3s! ;-)

<center><img src="http://riocar.org/albums/albun12/aar.sized.jpg"></center><p>
Its a 40G MP3 Player. Built by a company from the UK called EMPEG. Uses standard Laptop hardrives (fully upgradeably to what ever size drives you fill).

They have not been in production for over a year, but new versions of the player software continue to be released. The latest new feature is crossfading transtions from one song to the next.

You can still find new players listed on EBAY periodically.

Default 12 speakers is a complete waste and ruins imaging.. not to mention that 800 watts is nothing

for that. I'm planning on running over 1500 with just 4 speakers and a sub in my TT.

Default Ah... my count on that is more like 6....

IMO only carmakers count a component set as 4 not 2. So the way I was counting (neither correct nor incorrect) was 2 front L+R, 2 rear L+R, 1 center, and 1 sub. For a total of 6. I see how your count was done though.

I'll be running 110/channel RMS to the interior speakers and then somewhere around 1100+ to the sub(s).
