More games more toys, oh boy!

It's new from HPI Racing, an r/c car maker.

What size body is that? The only TT I could find was for the mini's. I have a brand new Associated TC3 AWD with an Audi A4 body. Would love to put a TT on it.

Later,

Troy

I have been looking for that TT for about a month! My partner and I went on an R/C shopping spree and bought 2 Mugen BX4 1/8 scale buggies with every hop-up part made. We ordered 2 Serpent Impulse 1/10 scale's and I kept asking about a TT body! Finally someone has come out with a TT!

The best part is I have a 4wd Touring Car and will be able to duplicate my Raven Black TTQ! I will have to get 2 of those bodies and use one for racing and one for show!

I will call the hobby shop tomorrow and order it.

Thanks for the update Ivan!

Default More info in HPI TT body

I am just learning R/C cars, so I don't understand all of what they say here, but here's the ad copy from the web page.

Get ready, racers! The Audi TT body is shipping to distributors! You may have already seen the real thing on city streets, and now you can put the scale version on your sedan race car! The TT is Audi's first totally brand new chassis in several years, and full-size car enthusiasts have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the production version ever since they caught a glimpse of the show car only a few years ago. Racers and hobbyists have been begging for a version to put on their R/C sedans for many months, and HPI is proud to release this version of the Audi TT to the public!

This body is wide (200mm), so it will fit any Nitro-powered sedan car. The rear deck features the smooth lines of the real car, and a large racing wing is included for extra downforce. With the realistic rear deck (no wing posts), you can run without the wing and still have a great-looking car! The curves and shapes of the full-size version have been copied to exacting detail by HPI's own body carvers, so you can be sure our Audi TT will look just like the real thing! Complementing the awesome lines of the body are the decals that replicate the TT's lights, grilles and logos!

The flexible vinyl decal sheet features realistic headlights, tail lights, front grilles, window lines, turn signals and more. With all the scale realism of our body, you will be happy to know that this is the only officially licensed Audi TT 1/10 scale sedan body available! Three sets of the official Audi "Rings" logos are included also to complete the authentic look, or to create your own Audi racing team. Conveniences such as vinyl window mask and overspray film are also included to make painting fast and fun!

The Audi TT body is part #7423 and has a retail price of $24.00

HPI Racing can ship you one direct, however they are closed until January for the holidays.

If I find more than 1 at a hobby shop, I'll buy them all and be the no-charge distributor, like the Matchbox car thing.

There is no direct link to the TT body, you have to look at the below web site and look for the "new models link".

Default The other TT R/C body my Protoform:

This has a different wheelbase than the HPI model. I think this body goes on a mini-chassis.

These are the only two R/C TT bodies I have found. Anyone find more?

Thanks.

Can you recommend a good chassis to go under this? I haven't got any r/c cars since moving to NYC (18 mths ago) from England ... the TT has just changed that!
