Default my question last night about stock TT225 fuel injectors...

the reason I asked was because I heard that the TT225 came with 440cc injectors. Is this true for any year/model of TT? I'm going to put 440cc injectors in my A4 and it would be nice if I could just drop TT injectors in there instead of dealing with RC Engineering for $90 per injector.

thanks... josh

Default nope, 225TT uses 360cc injectors

i've got a part # if you really want them. they are unfortanately $150/ea, but are easily obtainable from AoA.

Default aren;t you going with a dual stage setup?

Also how are you doing your engine mangement system? Piggy back? dyno tuned or all motronic programming?

Default its not just the volume that is important, there is a special spray

pattern that the 1.8T has that is not available in alot of different injectors

Default dual stage is the next step. but that'll come after...

...everything else is working together =)

but yah, the plan is to put my 290cc 180TT oem injectors as secondaries and control them with a rebic III or IV. i hear this might necessitate that i run throttel-by-cable instead of wire, but i honestly havent worried about it much yet.

Default Yeah - I know that - but I'm thinking the 4.2L is a 5V head as well

and could be some similarities in terms of combustion chamber and such and might use the same type of injector.

Default gotcha..

Just watching closely, because it seems like we share some similar goals in the hp department.. Saw an ATP kit on an A4 the other day which is only pushing 14psi and I got pretty excited about a turbo upgrade..
