Default My rational for aggressively modding my TT no matter what the cost:

Life just isn't fun anymore (no I'm not suicidal)..I mean the economy sucks, the stock market keeps dropping, a war will not be fun, work is hard to get and when you get it harder to keep and less fun than a few years ago. Health care costs are going up, etc., etc (Ok so there is two buck chuck!)

SOOOO what does give you enjoyment - Your TT right? so what would make more sense than to make one of the few things that you like even better no matte what the cost, to help get you through the insanity? Right?

Default Ive had alot of problems with mine,

some people have had none. Im on my third set of rear springs. However right now it finally feels like the car is setup right... Another coilover setup you might want to consider is ABT. Also along with suspension get some thicker anti roll bars which are cheap for front and rear and also get a kmac or camber bars (forge or strat)

Default Abt's and Konis or Bilsteins or?

I'm surprised you have had problems with the bilsteins they seem to be highly though of..if not slightly expensive.

Default the shocks are really good..the problem is the rear spring

which is made by HR...HR is on version #4 on their coilovers and still cant get it right.. If you dont want rider height adjustability or shock dampener adjustability look at just springs and shocks...I would pick ABT springs with Bilstein shocks...a cheap good choice..

Default Yeah true.. Some say coilovers are nothing but a way to prove your manly hood..

I on the other hand like the fact that you can fix the car to whatever height YOU want, and you can dial in the stiffness of the shocks.. It gives me the freedom I need on the big bad streets of NYC..
