Default My TT is driving like a worn out Rambler! Frustrating until parts arrive...>>>

I'm just about ready to flip my lid with my car problems, work, and major family issues. Every time I drive my car now it just drives like total crap! It drives absolutely nothing like it did a few months ago. When I thought all of this was related to riding on summer tires, I was so, so wrong. The car is so far out of alignment due to hitting a big pothole. I let go of the wheel and it pulls hard to the right. Steering wheel is always cocked to the left to keep a straight line. Bumps and dips are exaggerated and the car just bounces all over the road. A common term some use is that "it drives like a pig". I'm not sure if that would be appropriate, it is much worse than that. Feels like I have but 5 pounds of air in the tires and it just squats down the road with very vague steering response. It's funny that just a few weeks ago, the car would drive bad due to cold weather, then it would warm up and drive ok again(but not completely to my liking). I'm sure that the bushings were just holding out for the very last little bit of life left in them, now they are completely useless.

Of course the car seems to drive even worse when all of these other little life issues agitate me. That is when I just want to get into a good driving car, take a country cruise and forget about all the small stuff and relax.

Default how old are your shocks? maybe its possible that one of the struts are no good...

happened to one of my KW v.3s...and within 6 months after putting it in. found out that the shock was completely shot. had both taken out and revalved by KW...got them back in and it was fine. also, check all bushings and balljoints, etc. after you hitting a big pothole, some parts may be damaged...or bent.

i would get an alignment just to make sure.

Default I can understand the frustration and glad you could vent.

You've obviously got some known issues there, can't expect it to drive like a dream when things are so out of whack. Hopefully nothing is bent or broken.

Default Drive like a dream? That is my dream. I've wanted to sledgehammer this car lately.

It has been this bad. Then I thought that I would take the car up to a high mountain and drive it off a cliff, walk back home and claim that my car had been stolen. Damn, neither option will work!
