Default My TT is in for it's 5200 mile checkup ...

1. Second gear problem has surfaced. For me, it's when I rev the engine from a dead stop, and start out on a curve, like entering the main road from a driveway. The syncro grinds on the second gear shift in the middle of the curve. Never happens in a straight road on the same RPM situations.

2. They're looking at my ASR light dysfunction.

3. NO LOANER CAR!@@! They ran out of cars to loan me, and wouldn't give me the S4 sitting on the lot!!!

4. Compared to my surround sound Boston Acoustics speaker system at home, this Bose thing sucks in the car.

Default I have missed the shift in the middle of pushing it hard through a curve. Just my $.02.

Default Loaners are VERY dealer-specific...

To the best of my knowledge, my local Audi dealer doesn't provide loaners. Period. My wife's A4 1.8TQ has been in for three scheduled maintenance stops so far and it's just drop it off, pick it up later, if you need a car we'll be happy to call Enterprise...

It's a competitive thing. My dealer (Rockville Porsche Audi, Rockville, MD) has had loaners for at least the past 3 years I've been with them, but the trade-off is that if you want one, your appointment can be a few weeks later than otherwise. OTOH, I've been in for an appointment where I requested the loaner in advance, and when they were out of loaners, they paid for a day of Enterprise! Good folks. I'm going back to them for the TT.
