My TT is no longer a virgin...
I just had it chipped by Neuspeed.
My thoughts: I wanted a conservative chip, and the Neuspeed one fits the bill. Not much diff on the low end, but you can definitely one after 4000 rpm.
Curious to know how much an APR or ABT chip improves the car?

Mine's been defiled as well, but by ABT. I got chip and >>
spare ecu thru Stratmosphere. I chose ABT because of their close relationship with Audi in the fatherland, as well as the excellent customer service I've experienced with Strat. I also have a Forge DV and a Neuspeed "hot air intake". Probably gonna take the intake out, and go back to a K&N filter in the stock airbox.
There's a definite improvement in pick up and pull all thru the RPM range. The initial pull in 1st/2nd is especially hard. It's been raining almost every day, so I haven't had any real dry road time. ESP has been getting some work, as well as tire slip at higher RPM's in 1st when accelerating quickly. I'd guess that this chip is a bit more agressive in the low end and probably similar up high. Believe that the addition of an exhaust system will help quite a bit by letting it breath. That's next.
FWIW..

Will do. Since this is a "new" ecu, I guess it takes a few miles for it to >>
learn my style of driving. So, Pete at Strat told me to put a few miles on then see what it feels like. I can already tell a big difference. And, I believe I've got the exhaust in the mail today as well. I'll let you know how things work out.
Now are you thinking of putting this chip in Raudi, or the S-Line???
In any case, hold on and have fun!!

ALMS commemorative ...haha. I held off spending dinero on current Raudi as I really
knew deep down inside that I'd move to a 225 (just didn't want to say it and hurt his feelings..it's done now, LOL). So, will drive for a few months and then probably in summer, depending on ludicrousness of my bonus, do a chip, stoptechs and, and (I see from their email today they are also getting Abt springs soon)...I want to play with you guys...I know; I'm wacky.
