USA TT went Metric on the odometer
Hi everyone,
I mainly post on the A8 D3 forum but have a question as I am using my son's 2003 TT (engine code BEA, Quattro, 6 speed stick, driver info center) The car suddenly is displaying the odometer in Km not miles. Also, the date on the calendar went to Euro or Canadaian format.
The owner's manual simply says that the dispaly should be miles for US and Kilometers for Canada.
Does anyone here know to to change it back? I have VCDS if needed but why/how can it change on its' own?
I appreciate any ideas & assistance.
My son, Ballykid, has taken the A8 to Florida so I get to be a real sport for a week or so. We do switch cars for a day here & there but usually not for a week at a time.
Thanks,
Bruce

Well, I have figured it out and solved it. However, since this thread seems to be primarily newbies who make their first post with the customary HELP, HELP, HELP!!!! thread title; Anyone wanting the answer can PM me when it happens to you.
I figure with 3000+ posts, I can ask a question once in awhile.
