need explaination about tech bulletin turbo by-pass valve...(62nd post ;)
my service mang. gave me his explanation on the tech. bulletin. he indicated that the groaning and howling description is when the valve has totally failed. i tried to explain to him that i thought the bulletin indicates warning signs that the valve is about or going to fail. who is right?
a side note; i did not have any warning signs when the g-valve went out. i had the h-valve put in and a week later the n-valve comes out. i want the n-valve put in but audi says that there has to be noticable failure for replacement. so why did they put out a bulletin...they are admitting faliure with the h-valve. i know you all say aftermarket is the way to happiness but i spent much and i should except much!!! give me the n-valve
