Default mine did this for a while when new

I just tightened it a few times and it has since been fine. I was concerned about it since I know that the top elbow (nice description btw!) was fitted by AWE to replace the original version. It has been fine for 6 months now...

are using plumbers teflon tape? If not, use it and it won't loosen anymore.
