Default Needed to rent a car while my TT was being serviced...

Get stuck with a Chevy Impala. Holy Sh*t, my TT handles better in the snow than this car does on dry pavement. I have two questions: Whow buys these cars? And why are US auto makers still in business?

Default just got my rental, a Mazda 3 with 180 miles on it.

$35 per day with discount while car is being worked on.

KW v.1 to v.3 swap
wilwood BBK swap with porsche 993T

what's interesting is that, the Wilwood calipers (4-pistons) is over an inch thinner than a TT StopTech caliper! and the wilwood pistons are huge! not a bad set up...but not nearly as nice of a caliper as the porsche monoblocs. oh well.

Default I rented an Impala for about a week in Boston>>

I needed a full-size car as 4 would be sharing it and they gave me a choice between that and an Aztek, so, you can imagine I had no problem making that decision.

That car was a total piece of trash! The fact that it's over $20K blows my mind. It was however, a fairly comfortable ride when it was moving in a straight line. Even if I was 90 I still wouldn't buy one, I don't think.

Default The 3 isn't bad for the money. Watch out, VW>>

Test-drove one and I think it's pretty close to the Jetta for thousands less!

Default Some folks buy cars just for getting from A to B, man...,

and you need a car in most areas of the US. GM and Ford each have cars that meet most people's needs. And money *is* an object for many people. So they get what they can afford. I'm sure that there is someone out there that's really happy to own their Impala.
