Default Yup just what I need in my next Audi. Hell these clowns can't figure out a fuel sending unit, . .

cluster, dv, MAF, radio static, analog cellular phones in 2000 and 2001 cars!, cd whine, buzzing light switches, etc . . .

and you want Audi to get into fingerprint ignition starting? lol

You know it will only come with enough memory to store 2 prints, yours and the dealers. It will cost you an additional $1,000 for each additional person you want to allow to drive your car. Forget about any gatherings and allowing someone to drive your car. How would it work when you inevitably switch dealers? What about dropping the car off at a tuner shop? Does this require you to leave your finger behind? lol

PLEASE DON'T ENCOURAGE THIS SORT OF WASTE OF MONEY!

Default Well, I can think of several "decent" ways of doing so...

Like having a temporary deactivation switch (of course requiring you to use your fingerprint twice instead of only once, or, maybe, a retina scan in addition to the fingerprint) for the dealer to work with your car. When you get it back you simply reactivate the guard-dog. Same thing for borrowing the car.

But instead of doing fingerprint ID for the ignition and audio, I'd rather use is for GETTING IN THE CAR (and keeping others outside). It doesn't make much fun to find your car vandalized with audio torn lose and seats cut to shreds 'cause they couldn't start the engine.

However, all this stuff might bring some difficulties just as well... How about starting the car in winter having gloves not in the glove compartment but, instead, on your hands?

Or, if they come up with voice recognition, what if you get a flew or cold? Just give me the force field surrounding the car and I'll be happy even if I had to cary a huge key to deactivate it

Default Encouraging - I told you about my issues at TTE...

the dv they fixed, the pop corn popping in the trunk (they don't hear) I've come to find humorous in a way, but some may still consider this an option. Especially with all of the thefts in New Jersey lately, some may benefit - a club, car alarm, etc doesn't cut it as you've probably read from some of the posts.
