New owner - wanted to say hey
New owner of a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 Roadster S-Line. Love the damn thing, that's for sure.
Have come from the Z3 and Vette arena's throughout the years, so this is my first AUDI. So far, besides the convertible light on the dash staying on (did the tape trick, didn't work) and the hyper-flashing on the left turn signal (going to check all the bulbs and filaments tomorrow) it's a blast of a car.
Anyways, hope to learn much on here.

So far there has been.
Got to fix the hyper flash today. It was the inner rear light bulb and I noticed the weather seal breaking apart as I popped out the casing.
I also got the convertible top light to finally turn off on the dash. When I took off the top panel, across the visor area, I noticed the metal part of the micro switch had come around to the other side of the metal pivot of the mechanism. Then, the micro switch just fell into my hand. I guess the adhesive holding it in there failed. I removed the assembly, used some glue and placed it back in place and put the whole thing back together. BAM! 1 hour of screwing around with those two things and it's all quiet on the dash again.
Amazing info so thank you everyone!

Thanks JohnnyA4 - My first Audi too and hoping after this weekend and putting in almost $2k in work to it (all new tires, alignment, a new half shaft due to a torn boot, rear brakes and rotors (pads were down to 5%) and headlights polished, she'll be problem free for awhile.
Just got the oil changed last week and it all looked at by my mechanic for a baseline for them.
This forum is great and enjoy that A4
lyleswk - Thank you and yes, I've noticed that too. Where are they? Mmmm. Mine does have the DSG. From my research, it was the only option for this particular year and make/trim/model, I guess.
