Unless Audi has made some sort of official announcement...
...It's all speculation. There have been all sorts of rumours about the new S4's engine for the past few months. I've heard everything from a tuned 2.7t at 300HP, a twin turbo version of the new 3.0 engine, to the popular 340HP NA V8...Audi isn't saying which, if any, is the truth.

Re: IMHO, the A/S4 restyling effort was unsuccessful.
But notice how much better it looks (esp. in rear quarter) without the black trim on the bottom and with the rear decklid spoiler.
