Default Newbie - need recomendation for Bra (I know, I know...)

Just bought a 180 TTR - I drive 30 miles one way to work on the Interstate. Any brands of Bra that fit/materials are better? Would like to buy via web, but phone&ship is OK, too.
Just like the rest of you, I keep going out into the garage to check it out... any advise for new owners is welcome. Thanks.

Default Excellent Choice...

I have used Colgan on two vehicles with none of the issues that people have had with lesser quality products.

Default Take it from a guy who named his TT "Zorro" that's certainly the right product,

although I never heard of the vendor. I and others got ours from BlueRibbonMotoring. They had excellent service 2 years ago and good prices.

I got the bra and the mirror covers. I stopped using mine because it as hard to maintain in Florida with all of the rain and sand. Rain forces sand under it causing the paint to scratch. (Our dirt is sand, statewide.)

TT Bra is $100.00 from Blue Ribbon. Don't buy the OEM one no matter what price! Mine fell apart at the seams after a few weeks and I got a full refund.

Get yer Colgan here!

Default Recommend the Audi or Colgan bra initially, then clearbra

when you can line up an install.

The Colgan is probably as good as the Audi stock bra, and will cost less. However, I chose a clearbra (as have many others) for aesthetics and to avoid the remove/replace cycle for washing (for some odd reason, lots of us wash at least weekly--go figure

Bottom line is that any coverage is better than none, as the Audi paint chips easily. There are lots of posts here on the clear bar, but my experience has been outstanding--can't recommend it enough. As always, YMMV. Cheers!

Default install (or have installed) a clear bra asap -- they work great and look so much better than...

a regular bra...there are a number of brands, but all use the same 3m materials...you can install it yourself (a modest pain to do, but not technically difficult), or pay to have it installed...worth it, either way.
