News Flash: APB on TTR
Subject: Audi TT Roadster, Quattro Unit, Desert Green, Black top, Black Interior.
Last Seen: Leaving Port Houston on transport, in the presence of an S4, and A8's. One TT, 7 cars total in this group for this dealer
Destination: Park Place Motor Cars, Rochester, MN. All Cars are pre-sold.
Date: Left Port on or about July 3.
Reason for Concern: Audi can't find this shipment!
I spoke to my dealer/Sales Mgr. on Saturday, and she said calls into the port, regional mgr, and AoA provided no help. Regional guy will be trying to contact the driver, "hoping he will call in".
Is this any way to run a business??
3 weeks to go from Houston to Minnesota, and no one knows where this transport is?
Dealer frustrated. On her books since 6/23.
I'm frustrated, still driving a Rent-A-Wreck.
Other Car owners frustrated.

Axel, I don't believe your VIN is valid. I think it should end with a number and not a letter.

I think that the last digit is build status and is temporary.

Could be wrong, but I don't think so...
The VIN is 17 digits, I do believe, and ends in a number. Once the VIN is assigned, the status code is not a part of it.<p><img src="http://home.san.rr.com/winefinds/1.jpg" border="0">
