Default Nice cell phone headset for roadsters (and others too)...

Periodically, I use my cell phone while driving with the top down. The biggest problem is that often I can't hear the person on the other end with the wind whipping around the cockpit.

I bought a headset that is the best I've used to date. It is the Plantronics M130, and I can hear the person at the other end perfectly. I think the this is so because of a flap that covers the earbud (see pic). This virtually eliminates the wind noise so far as you are concerned.

The unit also has a noise-cancelling microphone. The person at the other end will hear moderate wind noise, but not as much as with other units that I have used. The unit has a 3-position microphone sensitivity switch. Set it to the least sensitive level.

I bought this thing at Wherehouse for about $17. Their regular price was $29.95, but it was marked down because the store is shutting its doors. Retail is $44.95, but you should be able to find it for around $20 or less. I saw several on Ebay for around that price.

How well does it grip your ear? My biggest complaint w/ the one-ear headsets is they fall off easily

It grips your ear extremely well. I'd be shocked if it fell off, unless you have very odd ears!

Default I bought the M170 a few weeks ago.

I have to agree, it's the best one I have owned as well. Looks like you got a great deal, I bought mine at BestBuy for $40.
