No front license plate in NJ. Implications?
I got my new NJ license plates in on Friday and installed the rear plate today, but I do not intend to plate the front of the car. If anyone in NJ has done this as well, what has been your experience with being harrassed by the police and if you have been ticketed, what have been the costs? Just want to make sure that I am not lining myself up for expensive tickets!

I never installed my front plate...
on my newest TT. It's been two months, but so far, so good.
I live in Union County, NJ, and do not use my car daily. In my area there is always someone doing something far more illegal than not displaying a front license plate. So, there are always bigger fish for the cops to fry....

depends on the car and the area...
on my GSX i caught a lot of crap for it... then again, i wasn't exactly following a lot of traffic laws in general... so i was kind of asking for it...
but in my area the cops hate anything fast & japanese... so maybe that was part of it, too...
i somehow doubt i'd get that kind of attention with the TT... i've been meaning to take the plate off and put it in the window, but i haven't gotten around to it...
