Default Not 24 hours after I get my 225QR

Some kid rear ends me on the freeway!

He had just merged onto the freeway directly behind me, and traffic was going about 5mph. He wanted to be one lane over to the left. I saw him in my rear view mirror, driving completely looking over his shoulder as he accelerated. He glanced my left rear quarter panel.

Luckily no one was hurt, and any damage was minor. There was no body damage, but there were scratches and rubber marks on the paint. I ended up getting it to my friends place, and we used some Meguire's (new believer here) and took all of the rubber marks off. There is really very little damage. Just a small little crack in the paint. He is going to pay for it all though.

All in all, not bad at all, but you can imagine how my heart just dropped when it happened.

Default ouch man....

that's sucks. it sounds like you have minimal damage though, so it's not too bad really.

consider it a "birthmark"

Default glad your car is in good shape- or maybe he should have gouged the rear bumper...a little

you could have been on the way modding on someone elses dollar

You had better luck than my bro, who calls me @ 430 this morning, to ask for a ride cuz he totaled his car after he fell asleep at the wheel and rear ended someone.
At least he is fine and blew a 0.0 on the breathalizer...

Default I'm always nervous picking up a new car...something always seems to happen >>

the first week or so. Maybe because of extra nervousness...but after the first mishap...its smooth sailing!

Default glad to hear your bro is ok.....

nice thing is that no one was hurt and ultimately that is what really counts. Saw an accident on the freeway today that I am doubting everyone was so lucky. Thanks for the well wishes all.
