Obd2 doesn't see speed car is going at? Strange

Obd2 doesn't see speed car is going at? Strange
It's 2002 TT Roadster
what a crazy problem I have. My check engine light comes on with P0501 Vehicle Speed Sensor.. Car drives great and Speedo works fine too..
Cruise control stoped working..
When I use OBD2 reader ELM329 with Tourqe App it sees Vehicle speed at ZERO and in a same time speedo works...
I can't figure this one out...
