1. Would you consider the non-res FM to still be 'civil'?
2. At no time does the non-res FM ever sound 'ricey', right?

I just got mine, and it sounds awesome!...
It definitely gives you a beefier sound without sounding like a Honda Civic Type R!(ha ha) I never heard the res version, but now that I've heard mine, I couldn't imagine buying anything else. GOOD LUCK!
I get a lot of droning around 3k rpm while coasting.
