I don't have a digi-camera yet but I was very impressed by Craig's photos (see link)

Thoughts on Canon S70 and Fuji 2900
I have the Fuji 2900, and my Dad has the Canon Powershot S70.
Let me set my experience with you. I've been taking pictures with 35mm SLRs since I was 8 or 10.
If you are experienced with 35mm SLRs, the Fuji is not for you. It relies on using the LCD panel on the back, the viewfinder is worthless.
However, the Canon S70 really has the 'look & feel' of a 35mm SLR. It's a TTL focusing camera. However it also has an LCD on the back should you like that method of focusing. But the viewfinder is what I've come to expect on my other 35mm SLR Cameras.
I'm selling my Fuji BTW, will make you a deal. Paid $800 for the camera & more for the 32 mb memory card, extra rechargable battery, wide angle lens, probably let it go for $600 or so
Tom Boucher

Have not compared digital cameras, but I have the Kodak DC-280, lotsa camera for the money IMO.
Also been an "Editor's Choice" at C|net for over a year now (see link). Best prices can be found by going to www.pricescan.com.

Kodak DC280 Zoom

Eighth Member of AudiWorld. God-like, glorious and all-knowing.
I have the S-10...
Like it a lot. Even though the S-20 is 3.1 megapixels and the S-10 is 2.1 megapixels. I actually prefer the S-10, because I like the sizes better.
The "small" format on the S-10 is 800x600, which is a size that I like to use. The S-20's "small" is larger than I care for. But I think that the entire Canon line is really nice, and thus far, I'm very happy with mine.
BTW, most of the impromptu pics of dents and such that you see I post here are not from the Canon. They are taken with a much cheaper Agfa that I carry with me at all times.
