Default Oh ohhh.. Bad vibes at my local Audo Dealer in Frederick Maryland.....

I stopped by to pick up touch up paint... I actually had to argue with the parts guy because he insisted there was no color called Lake Silver Metalic.. He said it was "light" Silver Metalic..After awhile he realized it was a typo. After all that they did not have it in stock.

I strolled over to the Service dept to get topped off on Washer fluid. (they used they same $1 per gallon stuff you can get anywhere)... I was sort of embarassed.

ANYWAY... I asked the service advisor if they had done many 20K mile services on the TTQ's .. he said oh yes many.

I asked him about the Haldex service and the special tools, etc, that are required. His eyes glazed over... HE HAD NEVER EVEN HEARD THE WORD "HALDEX" BEFORE... !!! Scared the heck out of me. I tried to explain the issue but he didn't get it.

I think I'd better find another service dept.

Default Light silver metallic is a valid color in the Audi line and is the same color code Ly7w

Audi has basically one silver. Maybe 2.

Default Yes, they cross referenced the #'s and they appear to be the same. It's just strange

The 2001 documentation shows no Lake Silver
