The oil/gas price comments a few threads down are very frustrating...
When I'm frustrated I start thinking (very dangerous in my case)& try to come up with some solutions. It seems to me that there isn't a comprehensive energy plan for our country. When I drive on most of the main roads where I live the lights do not allow for a smooth flow of traffic. Cars idle more, slow down a speed up wasting gas. I wonder if there would be an effect on our oil consumption if just this one thing were addressed nationwide?Of course vehicle size & mileage, alternative fuels come to mind. Years ago people would drive under the influence regularly. When people had enough it was addressed by grassroots organizations like MADD. So what do you think?
