not into roasting my own beans or anything, although I do grind my own. I saw a cool grinder/maker combo at Williams Sonoma but don't recall the name brand... Looking in the <$200 range. TIA!

Default hi Greg :)

This is my coffee maker.... makes MUCH better tasting coffee (IMHO) than any of the Krups or Braun machines I've had in the past (and there have been many).

Just my 2 cents worth, but the brewer is $99.

Default I cannot believe this one....Perhaps they're a little too diversified?

Default if you're going coffee siphon, avoid the plastic ones

sweetmarias.com sells the real deal (Haro or Kona). Both are under $200 and made of glass. The reviews of the plastic one (same as the Starbucks one) say that you have no temperature control, unlike the glass ones which use a spirit lamp.

Personally, I have this at home. Doesn't grind, but it makes a good cup, has a special setting for smaller pots (drips the water slower so you get a little stronger brew with less coffee) and has a timer. The capresso MT500. All stainless steel, too:
