I want to drop my car 1.25 inches all the way around using 8.5" wheels with 8mm spacers? I want to get between 1.5-1.7 negative camber - currently at 1.9-2.1. Is this possible with just half a set? If I remember correctly you do the top if only using a half set?

Tires should be here tomorrow - so car will be going in ASAP.

Default Nope, bottoms get pushed out. I used 1/2 with my H&R sports and I need more...

don't drive every day very far so I have opted for better handling.

I corrected from -2.5 to -1.6 with half a set (full set installed, but tops set to neutral) BUT that was with just shy of a 1 inch drop (25mm spacers) and the kmacs were set to their max adjustment. The more drop, the more the negative camberincreases exponentially. A small dif beyond 1 inch lowering requires a bigger eccentric throw on the kmacs. Most everyone who has done H&R springs has found the full set necessary and they are dropping about 1.2-1.3. Most have put just on the lower arms when they've used half a set. You can try it and see where you end up, but I wouldn't sell the other half of the kit til you put a gauge on it.

Default Joe, I might have a need for half a KMAC set

I did the recall, and altho FriscoTT (or somebody) mentioned that Rector Audi re-did the Griffin Motorwerke control arm mod, they didn't on mine, so my rear camber is now horrendous, visibly.

my drop is near 2", so it sounds like i might need a full set, but i'm not sure. are you thinking about getting a set?

Default Ok - so the verdict is - try half first (bottom) and go from there....

I've got a full set right now. I'll tell him to do the install on bottom and check camber on Hunter machine. If need be do the top. Thanks for the info folks - hopefully i'll get this done before the weekend.
