Default Is it OK to go golfing with 15 y.o. clubs or will the golf style police get me?

I'm not a golfer but I do own two sets of clubs. Both are pretty old, 10-15 years, but in great condition.
I'm going golfing today as part of my brother's bachelor party. Will I get ridiculed for showing up in the equvalent of your mom's cherry Valiant? Should I just rent? Better clubs certainly aren't going to help MY game!

Default They should be fine...--->>>>

Although if they are blades, it will make it more difficult on you. modern cavity backed clubs are more forgiving. I would only be concerned by woods made out of real wood - if they are old, they may explode! hehe. Just borrow drivers from your playing partners.

When I started to play, I bought a set from a flea market for like $20. It had perssimon woods that looked like they would explode on impact with a ball. Well guess what happened on the range. The wooden head didn't explode, but the head snapped off from the club and went farther than my ball. LOL

I would get new ***** though. Have Fun!

Are they truly "woods"?? I don't think it should matter at all....is the bag relatively new?

I wouldn't worry about it....You may take some ribbing...but, I suspect you can take it!
