Ok, I talked with the ClearBra installer in Calfiornia
Is anyone in California interested in an install?
This the REAL clearbra installer. They do custom fit work and have no precut molds or templates. This is the only installer in California. They are located in Sacramento. We can drive up to their shop and have it done there OR they can meet us in the Bay Area for a little higher rate.

Estimated:
Full install (hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors) and they can custom other pieces (like I asked about door handles, trunk lid, etc).
For the full install it is around $800 retail. We can get a discount for a) a group install and b) us driving up there.

Re: What does that mean? Did they arlready install it and you had a problem?
I had mine installed by the guys from SLC. I was the last car of the day, on the last day, and I think they were just trying to get out of there quickly, so I ended up with some panels that have issues (bubbles). So, the guys in Sac said they could freplace the panels under the warranty for me. So, I just need to get up there to have it done.

My custom install was $595
I had mine done two weeks ago in Idaho. Custom work... some points to consider.
Light colors (but not white) are best. Mine is Nimus Gray and the flaws in the material which are stretch marks are somewhat visible. These are tending to go away. This was the first TT that my installer did and he tried to stretch a piece across the whole front. I had him redo and there is a seam that runs from the lower inside corner of the headlight to the grill. Not noticable at all.
My installer tucks the edge under the hood and front. The kits leave 1/8 inch open at these edges.
Mirrors are hard and it's the inside surface that takes the beating. Don't worry about the surface sloping away from the car.
The headlights came out great.
They should prep the surface with clay bar, you'll have to keep the car out of sunlight for 24 hours and then wash and wax the material.
I had the door sills done as well. This seems to be the high wear area for mine.
