Default Ok, my MT6 stick shifter is not in the 12 o'clock poistion

with respect to the front of the car. I replaced the dog bone...did this influence the position or do I have trouble with engine mounts or something more?

Default The emblem is attached with adhesive on the OEM ****, it can spin if the adhesive breaks free

It used to happen to me when the weather got very warm. I now have a raffi know with 3M double sided tape holding the emblem on, no more problems.

Default My shift **** is threaded on and turns fairly easily.

The TT shift linkage is cable so unless something is screwed up the engine mounts shouldn't affect it.

Default sorry guys, let me rephrase: I have an abt shifter meaning no gear numbers

but the abt logo and it is no longer squared on the axis of the shift rod (the logo is squared to 11:00 0'clock now). The logo does not spin on the **** because it is fixed and it is threading all the way down. I noticed this a week after my dog bone install....WTF happened? is this a case of motor mounts gone bad thus shifting the engine some resulting in shifting of the shifter :-) or is the new dog bone pointing to wear elsewhere?

Default Unscrew the **** ....>>

Take it all the way off, insert something in the hole to take up some space until it fully tightens down in the 12:00 position..

Default sure, but I have to determine if there is another

problem elsewhere first...or similar with someone else...why the coincidence with the dog bone install? and to shift one hour? seems odd is all...
