Default Ok, so I'm lame...but I thought that CAI in a TT (even TTDA) ...

was pratically ineffective compared to other cars because the TT's MAF sensor or computer would compensate the fuel mixture for the denser air, cancelling out the effectiveness. At least wasn't that the original argument against K&N and cones?
While we're here, could someone tell me what TTDA stands for? My searches tell me it's a propreitary TTSchwing product.

Default Well, flow is still flow. It's not really more dense, it's more air that's the diff.

a greater, easier flow contributes a lot.

Default I think the point is that the TTDA feeds "cold" air...which makes all the difference. >>>

Heat is a factor the MAF can't control....guys correct me if I'm wrong here

Default Direct relationship between temp & density.

pv=nrt and all that...
I think it's just the you get more air through it.
